Bathroom Design 2026 | Material First
Bathroom Design 2026: material at the heart of the project
Bathroom Design 2026 is told through material. Murano glass, travertine, ceramic, stainless steel: six Italian companies present collections in which the material does not cover the space, it defines it.
In Bathroom Design 2026 the role of the room changes too. Indeed, from a service area it becomes a place of daily wellbeing, where the construction detail and the finish count as much as the floor plan.
Vaselli: travertine, made to measure
At Vaselli, White Rapolano Travertine becomes a shower solution designed to measure. As a result, surfaces run continuously and niches are built into the architecture.
The principle, in fact, is made to measure. No standard solutions, but configurations built on the specifics of each space.
In addition, the company, based in Rapolano Terme, works natural stone for private homes, hospitality and prestige contract spaces.
Glass Design: the colour of Murano glass
With ESSENZA MURANO, Glass Design brings Murano glass into the bathroom. The countertop washbasin has an irregular hemispherical shape, deliberately non-geometric.
Its silhouette, in turn, comes from craft work. Consequently, light meets the transparencies and the depth of the glass.
Two versions, blue and red. Diameter 400 mm, height 155 mm, with free-flow brass waste and ring base.
The same company also makes the LUMINA freestanding bathtub in a satin amber finish.
Scarabeo Ceramiche: geometry becomes volume
TEOREMA 2.0 is the bathroom furniture collection by Scarabeo Ceramiche. The fronts are continuous, with no visual breaks, marked by a thin horizontal groove that works as an integrated handle.
Specificallyvolumes are pure and wall-hung, moreover. Specifically, widths run from 60 to 140 cm, with a depth of 45.5 and a height of 35.
Likewise, from the same company, based in Fabrica di Roma, comes YUGO, the washbasin born from the fusion of square and circle, designed by Studio Adolini and on show at Salone del Mobile 2026.
Zazzeri: steel as a language
TUBEX is the new AISI 316L stainless steel collection by Zazzeri, designed by Massimiliano Settimelli. Above all, the tube becomes the mark of the project: essential, rigorous, with nothing added.
Stainless steel resists corrosion and is naturally hygienic. It therefore works in domestic and professional settings alike.
In addition, alongside Tubex, the Z316 line grows with Z316_X and Z316_Xtreme, where the four petals of the cross handle can each be configured among seven finishes.
Cropelli: water as a daily ritual
For Cropelli, taps and fittings are an essential part of the bathroom project. In particular, shower heads, controls and hand showers define the shower area as a space for regeneration, one of the recurring themes of bathroom design 2026.
At the same time, the Matte Copper PVD finish brings a warm tone to the natural surfaces of the room.
Similarly, in the Luce collection, the floor-standing tap in Matte Black carries the same language to the basin, with a slender line and an essential arc.
Moreover, attention to water efficiency runs through the company’s research. Cropelli is a brand owned by Wilden S.r.l.
Sbordoni: tradition that stays current
The Pisa collection by Sbordoni extends classic tapware with new shapes and finishes. Knobs, levers and spouts thus become decorative details.
Furthermore, fluted work introduces a change in texture, in contrast with the smooth, polished parts.
From the same company, clawfoot bathtubs return as a feature of charming hotel suites and of historic houses turned into hospitality.
Bathroom design 2026 in six materials
Six companies, six materials, a room that has stopped being an accessory. In short, Bathroom Design 2026 is planned the way a living room is planned the way a living room is planned: starting from what you touch.
