SCARABEO YUGO was born from the desire to transform an everyday object into a visual and sensorial experience. The project explores the theme of balance between solidity and lightness, geometry and fluidity, rationality and poetry, giving life to a sink that goes beyond simple function to become an expression of calm, introspection, and conscious beauty.

The design takes shape from the fusion of two primary geometries—the square and the circle—symbols of stability and openness, respectively. The fluid transition between these two shapes generates a sculptural yet essential object, capable of conveying continuity and harmony. SCARABEO YUGO thus interprets the contemporary bathroom as a space of well-being, a place increasingly dedicated to self-care and inner balance.

The formal language of SCARABEO YUGO is understated and refined: the linearity of the square evolves naturally into the softness of the circle, creating a pure and balanced silhouette. Inspiration from Japanese culture—where simplicity, spirituality, and respect for materials coexist—strengthens the product’s emotional impact, generating an immediate sense of order and serenity.

Every detail is designed to enhance the user experience: the internal curves promote proper water flow, the calibrated depth reduces splashes, while the thin, continuous edges facilitate daily cleaning and ensure ergonomic comfort.

This hybrid shape responds to specific functional needs. The square base ensures stability and ease of installation, while the circular upper part optimizes space and storage capacity. The result is an intuitive, practical, and pleasant-to-use sink, capable of elevating the everyday act of washing into a moment of true well-being.

With SCARABEO YUGO, the company introduces a new vision of washbasin design: not a stylistic exercise, but a symbolic language that expresses the fusion of opposites as an aesthetic and cultural value. The project strengthens the brand’s positioning as an interpreter of emotional and conscious design, capable of combining formal research, ceramic craftsmanship, and conceptual depth.

Made of ceramic—a natural, durable, and completely recyclable material—SCARABEO YUGO is the result of a production process optimized to reduce waste and energy, thanks to efficient firing technologies and low-impact systems.

But the sustainability of this washbasin is also cultural: it promotes a slower and more conscious idea of ​​living, based on quality, durability, and respect for the material. An object designed to accompany time, not to follow its speed.
