The finish is achieved by means of a physical process that gives the object superior properties compared to any chemical or electrochemical treatment, ensuring a long-lasting surface that is completely sustainable, environmentally friendly and hypoallergenic. PVD stands for Physical Vapour Deposition, a technology used to deposit thin metal films on various types of substrates. The process takes place in vacuum chambers, where the metals to be deposited, such as zirconium, chromium and titanium, are evaporated. The resulting metal ions are attracted to the surface of the objects, where they condense and form the desired coating.
Unrivalled durability: Thanks to the extremely robust PVD top layer, our products are highly resistant to scratches, abrasion and fading, ensuring that they retain their original beauty for years to come. This translates into higher product quality and a longer lifespan. However, it must be said that no mechanism is completely scratch-resistant.
ENERGY SAVING TECHNOLOGY
A technology that saves money. What is it? When you turn on the tap, you tend to lift the lever parallel to the spout of the tap. This automatically turns on the boiler, even though we would actually be using cold water. Thanks to the Energy Saving technology, the cartridge is mounted at a 45° angle to the standard mounting, thus opening the tap to cold water and turning the lever if you want hot water, so that the boiler is only activated when it actually needs to be used.
