GLOW – Light in Transparency

QU MDW Temporary Showroom | Via Cernaia 7, Milano | 20 – 25 April 2025 | Open 10.00 – 22.00

Concept: Parisotto+ Formenton Architetti

For Milan Design Week 2026, QU, an emerging Italian company in the technical and decorative lighting sector, is presenting its vision of light for the fifth time in the heart of Brera.

A functional element and expressive tool capable of transforming spaces and influencing emotions, light is presented through a new installation that offers an emotional and evocative experience.

From April 20th to 25th, Qu’s temporary showroom will once again be located in a typical bourgeois Milanese building and its “secret” garden at Via Cernaia 7.

The installation, titled GLOW – Light in Transparency, is the fifth installment of the Fuorisalone, the result of a collaboration between the Ravenna-based company and art director Aldo Parisotto of Parisotto+Formenton Architetti.

This new experience will showcase Qu’s design approach to light. Transparencies become the central theme of the project, rendering the products lightweight, transparent, and almost immaterial, allowing natural light to pass through them and transform their perception in space.

The installation will feature a new version of the Brillo Castello chandelier in the central hall, an iconic piece that interprets light as a scenic and architectural presence, as well as a wall-mounted version of the same series, both designed by Parisotto + Formenton Architetti. At the heart of the project, inside the outdoor area, is a Dress Me installation by 23 Bassi Studio di Architettura, enhanced with new diffusers that amplify its luminous expressiveness. The exhibition will conclude in the garden, where the new KIMADO lantern by Philip Adiutori – Studio MÀKIA – will debut, a new piece designed for outdoor spaces that extends the design language to the exterior.
