QU presents DRESS ME GLASS, a luminous evolution between technique and decoration

The collection is enriched with new glass diffusers, expanding the compositional possibilities.

On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026, QU presents DRESS ME GLASS, an evolution of the DRESS ME collection, introducing a new family of glass diffusers that expands the system’s design language towards a more decorative and expressive dimension.

This new interpretation combines the collection’s technical foundation with material research focused on transparency, layering, and the perceptual quality of light. The result is an even more flexible system, capable of creating complex lighting scenarios, in which light is not only functional but also visually present.

Designed by 23 Bassi Studio di Architettura for QU, DRESS ME is a collection of LED light sources characterized by a simple cylindrical shape and a turned aluminum body, an element that defines its technical and formal identity. Initially conceived as a suspension system, the collection has progressively evolved to become a true product family, designed to ensure design continuity and aesthetic coherence across different applications.

Today, the system includes DRESS ME S, a pendant version with a focused light beam, ideal for highlighting surfaces or objects; DRESS ME WALL and DRESS ME S WALL, wall-mounted solutions with the option of dual light emission; and DRESS ME P and DRESS ME S P, highly efficient ceiling-mounted versions featuring an intuitive and functional mounting system.

The 2026 addition introduces a comprehensive range of glass diffusers. The new, transparent version features ribbed glass cylinders, available in the same sizes (30, 90, and 180 mm), which introduce a refined, vibrant light effect. These are joined by new drop-shaped versions – in 30 mm, 180 mm, and 270 mm sizes, both transparent and sandblasted – that soften the collection’s geometric design with a more organic language.

These are complemented by more complex configurations, such as the double cylinder and the oblique double cylinder, made with two blown glass diffusers welded together: a sandblasted internal element and a transparent external one, which generate visual depth and a sophisticated layering of light.

The offering is completed by a 250 mm diameter transparent glass sphere, which introduces a fuller, more dramatic look, further expanding the collection’s compositional possibilities.

The use of glass, through interplays of transparency, surfaces, and overlapping, allows for a softer, more layered, and more expressive light, enhancing the fixture’s presence without sacrificing the precision and versatility that define DRESS ME‘s identity.

The high luminous efficiency of the LED sources, exceeding 600 lumens, makes the collection suitable for a variety of application contexts, from residential to contract and retail spaces, offering solutions capable of creating true luminous scenography.

DRESS ME is available in Black, White, Extra Mirror, Gold, Bronze, Copper, Burnishing and Corten finishes, as well as the possibility of customization upon request, in line with QU’s design philosophy.
