QU | Beyond the Home: The “Sensory Suite” redefining the private garden
A residential project transforms the outdoor space into an open-air wellness experience, where architecture, landscape, and light interact in perfect balance. The outdoor lighting, entirely designed by QU, becomes a narrative and functional element thanks to the Brillo and Magritte lamps.
In the heart of a private residential complex, where privacy translates into quality living, a project takes shape that transcends the traditional concept of a garden. Not a simple extension of the home, but a true sanctuary of well-being: this is how the “Sensory Suite” was born, a landscape and architectural project that creates an immersive experience through materials, light, and nature, designed by DipintoSucci Landscape Architecture Studio.

The visual and emotional fulcrum of the project is a rigorous architectural volume with essential lines, entirely made of glass. A light and contemporary structure that enshrines the heart of domestic relaxation: a complete spa experience with a natural wood Finnish sauna and a hot tub, enclosed by transparent surfaces that blur the boundary between inside and outside.
By day, the glass reflects the sky and the surrounding greenery, camouflaging the architecture with the landscape; by night, thanks to a clever play of lighting, the structure transforms into a truly spectacular lantern. Here, light is not just function, but story: it accompanies gestures, dilates time, and enhances the ritual of well-being.
A key element of the entire project is the outdoor lighting, designed and created by QU, which creates a lighting design that emphasizes volumes, pathways, and atmospheres without ever being invasive.
The Brillo and Magritte lamps are the protagonists, chosen for their ability to combine sculptural aesthetics and luminous performance.

Brillo, with its essential design and soft, diffused light, marks paths and accompanies walkways through the greenery, creating an elegant and discreet visual rhythm. Its controlled emission enhances natural stone flooring and contributes to an enveloping perception of space, without glare.

Magritte, on the other hand, works with accents and depth: strategically placed between the lawn, architectural volumes, and vegetation, it creates refined chiaroscuro effects and highlights specific elements of the garden. Light thus becomes a tool for interpreting the space, capable of transforming the outdoors into an evocative and dynamic environment even in the evening hours.

Leaving the wellness area, the sensory journey continues under a large bioclimatic pergola. This space is dominated by an all-black outdoor kitchen, with bold, contemporary lines, equipped with a professional barbecue and pizza oven. This is the space dedicated to conviviality, where the project shifts toward a more material and convivial aesthetic.
The pergola also supports a lush cascade of jasmine: the shadow cast on the large dining table intertwines with the floral scents, while QU lighting accompanies the evenings with a discreet and calibrated presence, transforming the dining area into an intimate and welcoming space.
The entire project is distinguished by a sophisticated material palette, built on harmonious contrasts: the warm-toned natural stone interacts with the dark metal of the kitchen, while the transparency of the glass and the green of the lawn create visual continuity between the different functional areas. Light, designed as an integral part of the landscape architecture, becomes the common thread that unites and enhances each element.
This private garden represents a virtuous example of how landscape architecture and lighting design can transform an outdoor space into a multisensory experience. Thanks to QU‘s intervention and the use of Brillo and Magritte lamps, light becomes a design element, capable of amplifying emotions and functions.
The “Sensory Suite” thus establishes itself as a new concept of outdoor living: a contemporary refuge where you can regenerate body and mind, while remaining comfortably at home.
